Le Championnat de France des solutionnistes s'est déroulé le dimanche matin et était organisé par Claude Wiedenhoff avec l'aide de John Beasley. 10 problèmes devaient être résolus en 2 heures. La grande surprise est la défaillance de Michel Caillaud. L'autre favori en a profité pour remporter le titre haut la main.

The French Solvers Championship took place on sunday morning and was organized by Claude Wiedenhoff with help from John Beasley. There were 10 problems to solve in 2 hours. The big surprise came from Michel Caillaud's failure. The other favourite took the opportunity to win hands down.

La veille avait eu lieu le Championnat de France de solutions d'Analyse rétrograde. Comme d'habitude, il était organisé par le champion de l'édition précédente, Pascal Wassong. 8 problèmes (tous inédits) devaient être résolus en 2 heures. Pas de surprise cette fois, et c'est Michel qui organisera le prochain championnat !

The French Retrograde Analysis Solving Championship took place on saturday afternoon. As usual, it was organized by the previous champion, Pascal Wassong. There were 8 problems (all were originals) to solve in 2 hours. No surprise this time, and Michel will have to organize the next championship !

Après la présentation de la vidéo consacrée au congrès de Pula se déroula le traditionnel tournoi de parties féeriques du dimanche après-midi. Y fût utilisé un genre proposé par le futur vainqueur (c'est une coïncidence!), les Echecs Extinction : un camp est en échec s'il est menacé de ne plus posséder un type de pièce. Les promotions en Roi sont autorisées. Ci-dessous la partie ayant opposé Pascal Wassong (Blancs) et Jérôme Auclair (Noirs) :

After the presentation of the video devoted to the Pula congress took place the usual fairy blitz tournament of the sunday afternoon. The condition used was proposed by the future winner (it's a coincidence!), the Extinction Chess : a side is in check if it is threatened to no more have a kind of piece. L'assemblée générale de L'Association Française pour la Composition Echiquéenne se tînt le samedi soir. Plusieurs décisions furent votées : Michel Caillaud est le nouveau délégué de la France en remplacement de Jacques Rotenberg. Les problémistes français sont contre la création d'un titre de champion du monde de composition échiquéenne. En aucun cas, ce titre ne doit être déterminé sur les bases des Albums FIDE, comme il fût décidé à Pula.	The General assembly of AFCE took place on saturday evening. Several decisions were voted : The new french delegate, replacing Jacques Rotenberg, is Michel Caillaud. The French problemists are against the creation of a world championship for problem and study composition. In any case, this title should not be determined on the basis of the FIDE Albums, as decided in Pula.
Le lundi matin fût consacré à la remise des Prix, avec l'annonce des résultats des trois tournois thématiques.	Monday morning was devoted to Prizes delivery, with the annoucement of the results of the three thematic tourneys.
